The toy industry is preparing to swap the showroom floor for the football pitch as the inaugural LA Toy Trophy takes place on Sunday 13th September.
Sponsored by Intertoy and Golden Bear, the match will see two international squads compete as Hermosa Lions FC take on El Segundo Warriors FC at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach.
Players, supporters and anyone from the toy community are welcome to attend. Guests can arrive from 6pm, ready for kick-off at 6.30pm, and there is no charge to watch the match.
The fun will continue after the final whistle with an after-party at the North End Bar from 8.30pm. Players, supporters and guests are invited to enjoy drinks, food and the opportunity to mingle with the stars of the toy trade’s answer to the World Cup. Places at the after-party are limited, so advance booking is recommended.
